Pre-Fight Checklist

Check:

   Ò   Spinner/prop nut for damage/tightness

    Ò   Prop blades for nicks or tip damage

    Ò    Muffler for secure mounting

    Ò    Fuel lines properly connected

    Ò    Engine mount securely attached to firewall

    Ò    Engine securely fastened to mount

    Ò    Throttle linkage secure 

    Ò    Wheels rotate without binding 

    Ò    Wheel collars secure

    Ò    Wing attachment bolts/screws/rubber bands secure

    Ò    All control linkages secure

    Ò    All clevises properly fastened

    Ò    All control surfaces follow command inputs

    Ò    Surface or covering material intact

    Ò    Fuel tank topped off

Post-Fight Checklist

Check:

    Ò    Tank emptied after final flight of the day

    Ò    After run oil injected into the engine after final flight of the day

    Ò    General airframe inspection for damage

    Ò    Entire airplane cleaned to remove oil and dirt
