Pre-Fight Checklist

ALL PILOTS MUST HAVE A CURRENT AMA CARD

Check:

• Spinner/prop nut for damage/tightness
• Receiver battery fully charged
• Prop blades for nicks or tip damage
• Muffler for secure mounting, if equiped
• Fuel lines properly connected, if equiped
• Engine/motor mount securely attached to firewall
• Engine/motor securely fastened to mount
• Throttle linkage secure, if equiped
• Wheels rotate without binding 
• Wheel collars secure
• Wing attachment bolts/screws/rubber bands secure
• All control linkages secure
• All clevises properly fastened
• All control surfaces follow command inputs
• Surface or covering material intact
• Fuel tank topped off/batteries fully charged
• Range check is OK

 Post-Fight Checklist

 Check:

• Tank emptied after final flight of the day
• After run oil injected into the engine after final flight of the day
• General airframe inspection for damage
• Entire airplane cleaned to remove oil and dirt
• Or if electric powered, just check for dirt
